A dance performer, choreographer
and a theatre artiste, Astha starting with winning at inter-school
competitions has performed at all major India festivals which include:
‘ Kalidas Samman Arpan Samaroh’, Bhopal, ‘Pratibha Utsav’, Allahabad/Bhopal, ‘National Sangeet Nritya Mahotsav’, Nagpur, ‘Bandelkhand Sangeet Samaroh’, Jhansi, ‘Swar Sadhana Samiti Sammalan’, Mumbai, ‘Worli Dance Day’, Indore, Dance Festival, Govt. of M.P. She has performed and conducted Workshops in France. Her theme dance presentations include ‘ The journey of Light’, ‘Duet-Kathak & Bharatanatyam, ‘Save Oil’ and ‘Haldighati-Jhansi ki Rani’ She has also choreographed and directed some dance dramas. Her canvas also includes the medium of theatre and television having acted on several Marathi and Hindi plays and TV serials. |
