Obtaining
intensive training in Odissi for 17 years from eminent Gurus,
Bijayani has given several hundred performances in India, Japan,
Belgium, Denmark, Holland, UK, USA, Canada, Middle East, at foremost
Indian festivals, cultural functions and art centres. She has
given lecture demonstrations at museums, universities, schools
to visiting students in India and U.S.A. One of the best Odissi
dancers Bijayini performs as a soloist and principal dancer of
Nrityagram Dance Ensemble, and also teaches Odissi at Nrityagram
