Trained
by renowned Indian classical dance exponent Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna
under ‘guru shishya parampara’, Kalakrishna is acclaimed
as the only artiste in Andhra Pradesh with full knowledge and
total performance talent. He has given performances in India
and abroad which include at Krishna Gana Sabha, SPICMACAY, and
a rare Navajanardanan performance at Andhra Pradesh temple for
continuously 9 days. NCPA has recorded his dance for Archaeology
and Central Sangeet Natak Academy has video taped his dance.
Panelled artiste of Indian Council for Cultural Relations in
outstanding category, Kalakrishna lead their sponsored dance
troupe to several African countries and to Indonesia and Singapore
(2003).
He has conducted Workshops in Mauritius and St. Louis, USA. He established
his dance school Hari Hara Nrithya Niketan (1987) and with teaching experience
in Andhra Natyam of about twenty years is a visiting lecturer for M.
A. Dance in the University of Hyderabad and Telugu University.
