Critic on performing arts of India, mostly originating from Kerala for leading periodicals of the country, both in English and Malayalam. Kamballoore is also critic and Kerala arts specialist writer of Sruti Magazine (Chennai) since 1990. Kamballoore is the only Consultant from India for documentation of the archive on Indian arts at Rose Bruford College, Kent, London (Theatre Department).
He is Consultant-India for Dance-Kalashas Montreal (Canada)
Has served as an Executive Committee Member of the first (All India) National Women’s Theatre Workshop, Kerala Sangeet Natak Akademi(1998); Art Consultant-India, Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York, for a production involving art forms and artists from seven countries of the world (1998), and Art Consultant for the presentation of ‘The Iliad Kathakali’ at Singapore (2000)
He collaborated with Western scholars as Project Associate and Translator for their doctoral/post-doctoral research studies on Kerala’s art and culture. Has assisted theatre choreographers, both in India and abroad, as their Artistic Consultant for production, choreography and audition of artistes.
