An
established Kathak dancer, Maulik though working within the traditional
classical format has yet brought in innovative themes and new
approach and treatment in his style.
Working in collaboration with dancers, choreographers abroad has made some innovative productions. His performances in India include at all foremost festivals and major cultural centres. He has been a cultural ambassador for a score of countries abroad. On the Jury of audition at Ahmedabad Doordarshan, empanelled as outstanding artiste of Indian Council for Cultural Relations and ‘A’ grade artiste on Doordarshan. Maulik teaches at his founded institution Anart Foundation, Ahmedabad and conducts Workshops and lecture demonstrations. |
