Hailing
from renowned artistes family Padmaja had extensive training
in dance, music, choreography and abhinaya for over sixteen years.
Her traditional and contemporary dance productions and style
that blends the classical with the modern have been acclaimed
in India and Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand,
France, Belgium, Germany, UK, Israel, USA, Canada.
She has performed at national level festivals at Hampi, Konark, SNA Mahotsav,
Uday Shanker Utsav throughout the country and at Nehru Centre, London,
Tagore Centre, Berlin and Hall of Nations, Detroit. She has danced for
songs in Hungarian, Chinese, Hebrew and several other foreign languages.
Has conducted Workshops at dance departments of Queensland University
(Australia) and Weinstate (USA). She was a delegate of the Indian Council
of Cultural Relations, Cultural Mission to Spain, Hungary and Germany
(2003).
