Starting
at an early age of six years, Santosh Kumar took training in
Lucknow style of Kathak dance under Guru Shishya Parampara.
He acquired knowledge of vocal music and table playing being integral part of Kathak dance learning He has performed in India at prestigious festivals, Kathak Mahautsov, National Festival of Kathak Dance and Tansen Music Conference among several others. His performances abroad include in Redbridge Festival, London, Festival of Asian Dance and Music, Bedfordshire, London and in Germany and France. He also taught Kathak at London and Germany. He has performed in USA and has conducted short-term classes at Minnesota, Houston (USA). Has done Workshops in England, Scotland and several places in Europe. |
