|
A trained dancer, Bijoy Anand
Shivram has performed all over India and in Japan, USSR, Finland,
Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Holland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy
and UK. Besides, performing classical dance dramas he has dealt
with modern, social thematic subjects of environment, drug addiction,
unification and national integration in his dances. He has been doing charity shows in India and abroad in aid of leprosy patients, old homes, spastic children and kidney patients. He started teaching dance to a dialysis patient as a therapy which has by now become a movement to help dialysis patients. His brain-child ‘Preksha’ a non-profit organization started in 1991 to promote art and culture and provide an avenue to upcoming and professional artistes. In addition, a product of Fine Arts Faculty, MS University, Baroda, Bijoy is a free-lance Graphic Designer with a national award and prizes to his credit. |
